Easter Biscuits

Recipe One


- 275g Plain Flour

- 200g Butter

- 150g Castor Sugar

- 50g Currants

- 1 or 2 Egg Yolks

- 6 drops Cassia Flavouring Oil


Mix the ingredients together. If the mix is a little dry, add a little milk. Roll and cut to shape. Bake in a moderate oven for 10-15 minutes.


Recipe Two


For every 450g of Plain Flour, mix in 350g of Butter, 225g of Castor Sugar, 10 drops of Cassia Flavouring Oil and 6 egg yolks. Divide into balls and allow to stand for 2 hours.


Roll out sprinkling in currants, cut to shape. Bake in moderate oven for 10-15 minutes.
